WECC needed a modern Drupal 10 platform that could replace their legacy SharePoint setup and support more flexible content management. I served as the primary Drupal consultant on the project, providing architectural direction and hands-on development while collaborating closely with a SharePoint developer. My role included coaching them on how to effectively leverage Drupal’s backend systems, data modeling, and front-end rendering mechanics.
I designed and built custom entity types and plugins to support WECC’s domain-specific content structures. I also contributed to the evolving form_alterer module, creating reusable form-alter plugins that simplified development and reduced duplicated logic across the system. This improved both maintainability and consistency within the Drupal codebase.
Throughout the project, I provided ongoing technical guidance to ensure the Drupal implementation remained scalable, standards-compliant, and easy for the team to extend in future phases.
